Greetings and Salutations from the Land of Drums and Dragons =D I'm listen to a couple of tunes whilst writing this blog, so let's get to it!
As the title reads, my friends, Kat and Philip were wed last Saturday (May 7th, 2011), so shout out to them, the fmaily, friends and everyone who made it out. It was absolutelly gorgeous. Since I'm not the brightest human being on the planet, I forgot to get a fun cam... so I have no photos =P (I'll have to troll people to put some pics up).
Despite my abscent-mindedness, I, and my soon-to-be bride, Charlene, were honoured and humbled to play the prelude, closing and reception music. =D Only thing is, there was miscommunication between the wedding party and the DJ, so Charlene and I did only the special music during the reception as well as the music for the bridal exit (before the reception). All and all it was a great wedding and many blessing and prayers to Kat and Phil and their bright and loving future together as one... like Gemini =D
During chaos of the wedding I lost a mic-holder for the boom. I was not happy =P So that late afternoon after the wedding Charlene and I hopped into the plum Saturn, dropped the equipment we used off at our church: http://www.southeastnazsd.org/ and then headed to Guitar Center (http://sandiego.citysearch.com/profile/472432/la_mesa_ca/guitar_center.html) to get a new mic-holder. At the check-out, I goit into this convo with a cashier, a fellow bassist. His name is Ricky and he and I exchanged contact info. He's part of a band called 'Almost New': http://almostnewmusic.com/. There he's got his demos up. He's actually a very good bassist. I'll have to follow him and add him onto Facebook so we can stay connected and hook up. The site is up and coming so more info as it becomes avail.
So that's been my week, indeed! Also, I've been trollin' Soundcloud a lot. if you're reading this and you're a junglist or like dem dark beats, search for the label 'Metalheadz' - my favorite drum and bass label and one of the most legendary drum and bass/jungle labels in the history of the world. Better yet: http://www.metalheadz.co.uk/ =P. Get edumacated and become darkened ;)
Alrighty... Gonna post this on the wall. More and more news will come down the pipes. Also I'll upload some elevator music while reading this. Lates, everyone and have a fantastic evening!

Current Things!
Greetings, Citizens!
Welcome and salutations to my first blog! It is a beautiful afternoon in sunny San Diego, CA and the spring is in full swing. The beaches, the sand and the mall beckons company and hibitants to flock, consume and congregate in these areas. Meanwhile, Austere, the Digital Dragon, has his mind on other activities - one being an EP entitled 'Praying Mantis'. It will consist of 5 tracks of various styles of electronic music. The demos are being worked on as well speak and one of them will be unleashed in the upcoming days... stay tuned!
Second on the docket will be my first true worship crew, Remnants, which I am the bassist for. We're currently practicing new songs and developing a ministry. The story of Remnants is a tale in itself - going back for quite some time! More to come on that as well.
Third, and typed with a somber, yet joyful heart, is the alpha stages for a concert which I and my soon-to-be beloved bride, Charlene (the Burgundy of the Black and Burg) are putting together coming in the summer. It is entitled the 'Karen Koncert', dedicated to my wife, Karen, who had passed away in September of 2009. It took a lot of circumstances and time and patience as well as opportunity for this special concert to happen, but finally, I will be able to devote the proper time to putting the wheels in motion. This concert will be held @ Southeast Church of the Nazarene.... more details to come.
Finally, mad marraige props to mine and Charlene's buds, Kat and Philip, who are getting married this Saturday =D With all the other things going on, the enthusiasm with attending as well as playing for my friends Kat and Philip is an honour. As life is celebrated, new love is also being celebrated. Happy happy...... joy joy.....
Alrighty, that's it for now.... gonna slap this bad boy up --- I will keep updating all the happenings and also providing links as I get more familiar with posting and writing blogs. Thank you all for reading and have a slammin' afternoon/evening/morning wherever you hail from =D Lates!
